Is it getting harder to make ends meet? Do you feel like you're working harder, only to fall behind? Or are things getting better for the middle class? Post a comment in this story, comment on WTOP's Facebook Page or use #WTOP on Twitter.

WASHINGTON -- It's a big blow for America's middle class. The country's middle class has for years been the most affluent in the world. But that's no longer the case.

A New York Times report shows that America's middle-class has lost considerable ground.

But they've risen 20 percent in Canada, which now appears to have the highest middle-class incomes.
