Company sells Edward Snowden action figures

WASHINGTON — Kids can play “whistleblowing” with their very own Edward Snowden action figure thanks to a company’s newest creation.

Beaverton, Ore.-based company, ThatsMyFace.com, released a 12-inch action figure made to look like former National Security Agency contractor and whistleblower Edward Snowden.

The action figure alone costs $99, but customers can purchase wardrobe changes for Snowden for an added cost. Also available is just the Snowden head for $60.

ThatsMyFace.com says proceeds from the action figure will be donated to the Freedom of the Press Foundation — a non-profit organization dedicated to helping support and defend public-interest journalism. The website says the foundation does not sponsor, authorize or endorse the company or the Snowden figure.

Below is a video showing the Snowden action figure alongside a figure of Wikileaks founder Julian Assange.
