WASHINGTON — Miranda Barbour, 19, and her husband, Elytte, have been charged in the murder a man Barbour met through Craigslist, and police are now checking to see whether she may be a serial killer.
In a recent interview, Barbour claimed she has killed dozens of people. Francis Scarcella of the Daily Item newspaper in Sunbury, Penn., said Barbour told him she “stopped counting at 22” people and that she needed to get the crimes off her chest.
