STAFFORD, Va. - Two men have been indicted after a bomb was found in their house, according to the Stafford County Fire Marshal's office.
Cody V. Compton, 20, and Jonathon K. Clark, 21, were both indicted by a Stafford Grand Jury for possession of an explosive device.
The fire marshal's office says the "pipe bomb-type device" was found in the garage of the two men's Stafford County home in November of 2010.
The device was found when the Stafford County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant for an unrelated manner at 5 Catherine Lane in the Garrisonville district of Stafford.
Virginia State Police and the county fire marshal were called in to disarm the device.
The county fire marshal's office says the device was intended to hurt people, and not cause structural damage.
