WOODBRIDGE, Va. (AP) -- Police say a bicyclist was struck and killed by a teenage driver in front of a high school in Woodbridge.
The accident occurred shortly before 3 p.m. Friday outside Hylton High School. Prince William County police say a 17-year-old girl ran her Ford Mustang off the road and onto the sidewalk, where it hit the bicyclist. The 66-year-old Woodbridge man died at the scene.
Police are still investigating the crash, and no charges have been filed. Police will release the bicyclist's identity after his relatives are notified.
Police say the driver is a high school student but lives in Manassas and does not attend Hylton.
