WASHINGTON - A heads-up for illegal parkers. Starting Tuesday police plan to start cracking down on one popular commuter lot.
Police will be posting signs starting Tuesday at the Woodbridge commuter lot just off Interstate 95 in Prince William County.
Besides the thousands of legal spots, state police say commuters have been parking on grassy areas, no parking areas, and travel lanes in the lot.
Police will also be placing flyers on cars parked where they shouldn't be.
On Monday police will start writing tickets and towing.
