MANSASSA, Va. - An all night vigil was held for a Northern Virginia teen killed in a North Carolina car crash caused by Hurricane Irene.
Katherine "Momo" Morales, 15, died when the SUV she was riding in collided with another SUV at an intersection in Goldsboro, N.C. that lost power due to the storm.
She was about to become a sophomore at Manassas Park High School. A funeral service and all night vigil was held at Iglesia Principe De Paz in Manassas Friday into Saturday.
Another candlelight vigil will be held at her high school's stadium at 8 p.m. Saturday. It's open to the community and to students.
