Plane has emergency landing at Dulles Airport

WASHINGTON — A mechanical problem on a plane led to an emergency landing at
Washington Dulles International Airport Monday night.

United Flight 1564 had just taken off heading for San Francisco when the pilots
noticed a mechanical problem, says a United spokesperson.

They turned the Boeing 757 around and came back to the airport.

United says 151 passengers and six crew members still got to head to San
Francisco after a several-hour delay. No one was injured during the incident.
