Maid service owner accused in $100K Loudoun jewelry theft

WASHINGTON – A woman who owns a maid service is accused of stealing more than $100,000 in jewelry from a Loudoun County home this month, and authorities think she may have stolen from other homes in the area.

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office says Milagro M. Villatoro — who also goes by the name Milagro Flores — has been charged with grand larceny and obstruction of justice in connection with the theft from a home in the 16200 block of Shiloh’s Run Court in Purcellville, Va., between Oct. 3 and Oct. 14.

Villatoro, 47, owns the Arlington-based Mily’s Maid Service, authorities say. Detectives think others who used the service or gave Villatoro access to their homes may have had items stolen.

Anyone who thinks they may have been a victim is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 703-737-8757.
