2 girls run away from Loudoun school

WASHINGTON – Leesburg police are searching for two teen girls who ran away from an alternative education school.

Police say Evelyn Diaz, 15, and Elena Velazques, 13, left the Douglass School on East Market Street about 1:45 p.m. Tuesday. The two girls were last seen heading toward the W & OD Trail, which is near the back of the school.

Authorities on Thursday morning said the teens were still missing.

Diaz is about 5-foot-2 and weighs about 110 pounds. She was last seen wearing a gray shirt, black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

Velazquez

Velazquez is about 5-foot-10 and weighs about 120 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black sweat pants and was carrying a Redskins backpack.
