WASHINGTON - He sings Happy Birthday, nays like a horse and speaks Spanish.
Meet Echo, a 15-year-old double yellow headed Amazon parrot who stopped by the Glass-Enclosed Nerve Center to chat with WTOP reporters.
Animals will be available for adoption at the expo, and attendees are encouraged to bring their pets -- as long as they're on a leash.
For owners who like dressing up their dogs or cats, there will be a best dressed pet competition Saturday at noon. Katy Nelson, WTOP's Dr. Pawz, will be one of the judges, and the audience will vote for the top three winners.
Echo, who has a vocabulary of 150 words, will be at the show Friday and Saturday. Watch his interview with WTOP below:
