Loudoun County community fights potential school closure

Loudoun County is considering the possibility of closing the doors on Lincoln Elementary, but dozens of members of the community won’t let it go away quietly, The Washington Post reported.

Lincoln Elementary, a national blue-ribbon school with an enrollment of 136 students, would cost the school system more than $300,000 in required repairs to keep the building up to code, according to county school staff.
