WASHINGTON - Authorities say a truck crossed the center line and smashed into the fuel tank of a tractor-trailer in Loudoun County, killing the pickup's driver.
Virginia State Police say 27-year-old Barbara C. Whitener of Olney, Md., died at the crash scene early Saturday morning. A news release says she was not wearing a seat belt. The driver of the tractor-trailer suffered only minor injuries.
Authorities are still investigating to determine exactly what happened.
