WASHINGTON -- A Virginia man has been arrested for allegedly stealing $50,000 from a Loudoun County youth football league.
Raymond J. Taylor, 44, from Purceville was taken into custody Thursday on six counts of felony embezzlement. He allegedly stole the money between February and September 2011 while he was president of the Upper Loudoun Football League, according to officials.
League board members tipped off the Loudoun County Sheriff's Department after discovering irregularities in their accounts.
