WASHINGTON - Dozens of government contractors, health care companies and IT firms Tuesday will take part in a job fair dubbed, "Hiring Our Heroes."
"There will be a variety of companies from Loudoun County that want veterans on their payrolls because they've been highly trained. They have leadership skills, and in many cases have proven they know how to get the job done," says Tony Howard, president of the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce, which is hosting the job fair.
"More than 1 million veterans in the United States who are currently unemployed and others who are looking for a better job."
The job fair isn't just limited to veterans. Anyone who wants to attend may.
You can even e-mail your resume to email@example.com ahead of the fair.
Tuesday's job fair takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Embassy Suites, Dulles North Hotel, in Ashburn.
