How much do people know about Va.’s race for governor? (Video)

WASHINGTON – Voters sometimes don’t know much about the candidates before an election. You could say they’re, well, clueless.

But just how clueless?

With next month’s gubernatorial election in Virginia, a couple of radio hosts from George Mason University’s WGMUradio.com decided to see whether people knew anything about the race.

“My talk show co-host and I went out looking for anyone who knew anything about the upcoming election (Va. gubernatorial). After two hours, we didn’t have too much success,” writes John Hill in an email to WTOP.

But what they discovered will make you laugh, but they say they were just trying raise awareness.

Hill says a lot of people they talked to “didn’t want to even go on camera because they were self-proclaimed uninformed students.”
