RICHMOND, Va. - Middlesex County Supervisor John D. "Jack" Miller is the new president of the Virginia Association of Counties.
The association says Miller was elected during its annual conference in Bath County and began his term this week.
Miller, a Middlesex supervisor for 17 years, succeeds Fairfax County Supervisor Catherine M. Hudgins. He becomes the second president from Middlesex County and the first in nearly 60 years. W. Earl Daniel served from 1953-54.
