WASHINGTON - Fairfax City police have identified a 62-year-old pedestrian who was killed early Saturday morning.
James Ralph Davidson was crossing the 9800 block of Fairfax Boulevard at approximately 1:15 a.m. when he was struck by a 2010 Jeep Compass. The driver of the Jeep fled the scene.
Davidson died at the scene.
The Jeep was later found by Arlington County police. Officials have not released the driver's identity.
