WASHINGTON – A Fairfax man has been charged with the murder of his roommate, Fairfax County police say.
Jose Ivan Castro, 20, got in a fight with his roomate Oscar Rivera, 38, early Wednesday morning at their apartment in the 9100 block of Barrick Street in Merrifield, police say.
Police were called to the apartment when the victim’s body was discovered in the bathroom of the apartment. Police say Rivera was stabbed to death.
Castro is at the Fairfax County Detention Center.
The investigation is continuing.
