Horse stabbed second time near Frying Pan Park

WASHINGTON – A horse that was stabbed in April was cut again over the weekend near Frying Pan Park.

Fairfax County police say the horse, Lucinda, was in her paddock in the 2600 block of Centreville Road, when she was cut. She was treated for non-life-threatening wounds.

Detectives believe the attack happened between 8 p.m. July 7 and 10:30 a.m. July 8.

Police had previously arrested a teen in connection with the earlier attacks on animals. He is still incarerated in the Juvenile Detention Center.
