Two arrests in high-end eyewear thefts; one suspect oustanding

WASHINGTON – Numerous tips to the Fairfax County Crime Solvers have led to the arrest of two suspects for multiple thefts of high-end eyewear.

The suspects are accused of stealing expensive, framed glasses — including Gucci eyewear — from vision stores throughout Fairfax County between July 6, 2011 and Nov. 10, 2011.

Police have charged Arthina Cecilia Leake-Hall, 52, of Washington, D.C. and Norlin Keith Washington, 43, of Accokeek, Md.

Leake-Hall has been charged with two counts of grand larceny and two counts of larceny with the intent to sell.

Washington has been charged with three counts of grand larceny and three counts of larceny with the intent to sell.

There are warrants still outstanding for Robert Wilson, 53, for grand larceny and for larceny with intent to sell.

Wilson is is black, 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighing about 130 pounds. He goes by the nickname “Link” or “Linky.”

There is a $100 to $1,000 cash reward for information leading to an arrest.
