ALEXANDRIA, Va. – He wears a red baseball cap and several gold chains. He drives a red pickup truck with scratches, dents and rust.

Since Dec. 19, five students in Fairfax County have described the same features of a man who hangs around Clermont Elementary School.

They say he stares, waves or calls out.

Fairfax County Police have sent detectives and officers to the area to identify the man and vehicle.

He’s described as 30 to 35 with short black hair and a goatee. A news release states that he is “possibly Hispanic.”

The latest student to report an incident said it happened at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 17

No student has been touched or hurt, but police are asking the community to report anything suspicious.
