The penthouse known as Residence 703 in the Lauren hit the market for $10.5 million. The home is now the most expensive condominium ever on the MRIS multiple-listing service, The Washington Post reports.

The previous record was $6.795 million.

Residence 703 offers 7,300 square feet on the top floor of Bethesda’s newest luxury condo, the Lauren. Some of the features include:

  • A direct-access elevator
  • Hardwood and natural stone flooring
  • A 600-foot grand salon for entertaining
  • A formal dining room
  • A spacious kitchen with professional-grade appliances
  • A 1,500 square foot private terrace
  • Three bedrooms
  • Four full baths and a half bath.

The Lauren offers residents additional amenities including a wine lounge with a private wine storage unit, a rooftop terrace, guest suites for rent or purchase and other parking and concierge services.

Residence 703 was designed by Miami architect Robert Swerdroe and the interior by Jeff Akseizer of the Akseizer Design Group but buyers will have the option to work with the designers to further customize the home located at 4901 Hampden Lane in downtown Bethesda. Construction is expected to be complete in early spring 2016.
