Earlier: The westbound lanes of Route 50 are reportedly blocked due to an accident involving an overturned vehicle.
The accident occurred at the intersection with Park Drive, near the Arlington Forest Shopping Center. One person is trapped in the overturned vehicle and is in the process of being extricated by firefighters and transported to the hospital.
