A ‘hairy’ new flaw with the iPhone 6?

WASHINGTON — In the short time since it made its debut, customers have been raising concerns about the new iPhone 6’s design flaws.

It started with “bendgate,” when some iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus users reported that the devices bent. Then, a software glitch left some iPhones unable to make calls, prompting Apple to scramble for a fix.

Now, some customers say the phones are ripping their hair out. KHON in Honolulu reports a small gap between the screen and the phone’s metal frame is the cause of the problem, yanking at facial hair or long strands.

Owners are taking to social media, using the hashtag #hairgate to share their complaints.

The website Mashable tried to recreate the problem, with no success.

At this point, Apple has not commented on the issue.
