WASHINGTON - Alexandria police have released surveillance footage of a suspect they say robbed a Dunkin' Donuts on Thursday morning and fled with cash.
Police say the man entered the coffee shop at 4653 Duke Street around 11:15 a.m., displayed a handgun and demanded an employee open the cash register. He took an undisclosed amount of money and fled.
The suspect was last seen in a small blue car heading west on Duke Street.
He is described as black, in his mid-20s, about 5 feet 10 inches with a thin build.
