Power restored to 2K Dominion customers in Alexandria

WASHINGTON - An underground cable failure is to blame for a brief power outage in Alexandria Wednesday.
Around 12:30 p.m., little under 2,000 Dominion Power customers lost power along Glebe Road.
Dominion dispatched crews to fix the problem.
Power was restored around 1:45 p.m.
