Pet of the Week: Blanche and Big Daddy

WASHINGTON – WTOP Living is partnering with the Washington Animal Rescue League to feature a Pet of the Week available for adoption. Meet this week’s pets below.

Name: Blanche Devereaux and Big Daddy

Age: 9 years old

Breed: Maltese mixes

Bio: Attention all you “Golden Girls” fans: This week’s Pets of the Week are none other than Blanche Devereaux and Big Daddy, a bonded pair of 9-year-old Maltese mixes.

Both are affectionate and crave attention. In fact, they get very excited and vocal when someone approaches, eager for some good old-fashion loving.

With the exception of a couple of short walks a day, these “golden oldies” want nothing more than to hangout on the couch or bed while their adult human companion reads or watches TV. Could that be you?

For more information about Blanche and Big Daddy, email adoption@warl.org or call 202-726-2556 ext. 503.
