The Lobby Bar has been serving two politically-themed cocktails since August:
The Great Debate
(a small-batch bourbon blended vermouth and green chartreuse) and the
Massachusetts Mule
(composed of a blend of ginger ale, lime and vodka infused with raspberry, chocolate and mint), both of which are available through Inauguration Day.
Over the last few months, The Lobby Bar had a Facebook contest for people to create their own political cocktail. The winning cocktail, which will be served from Jan. 18 to 22, was the
Latino Vote
, a zesty drink made of tequila, blood orange soda, lime and cayenne pepper. All three cocktails cost $12.

Cashion's Eat Place

On Jan. 21, Cashion's Eat Place is serving an entire menu in the spirit of Inauguration Day, with a prix-fixe Obama-inspired menu for $40.13 and optional wine pairings for $20.13. Dishes include a
tuna poke in Bibb Lettuce
with fresh chilies and soy, a
dry-aged beef strip loin
with J-1 steak sauce and a Hawaiian pineapple upside-down cake.

El Presidente
, a concoction of light rum, dry vermout, curacao and real grenadine. The $15 cocktail is being served from Jan. 17 to Jan 22, but can be purchased for just $6 during happy hour from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays.

"POTUS Dog"
is being served for one day only on Jan. 21. Chef David Guas' $7 Obama-inspired hot dog consists of two Chicago-style all-beef hot dogs, topped with minced white onion, dill pickle spears, roasted sundried tomatoes, pickled sport peppers, sweet pick relish, mustard and a dash of celery salt.

"Sparkling Second Term"
from Jan. 18 through Jan. 21. The Sparkling Second Term features Averell Damson plum gin, Leopold Brothers New York apple whiskey, housemade "Bitter Truth" Lemon Bitters and a splash of Cava wine. This $11 sparkling cocktail is served in a champagne flute rimmed with cinnamon and sugar and garnished with a lemon twist.

D.C. native and renowned chef Robert Wiedmaier will be serving the
Hawaiian Onaga "Obama" Snapper
with snap pea risotto and ginger sesame pea tendrils in homage to President Obama and in deference to his birthplace. The dish is being served at Wiedmaier's flagship D.C. restaurant Marcel's, but that's not the only restaurant where he'll be showing off his political panache...

. Served in a martini glass and garnished with a twist of lemon, the fruity, bright blue cocktail involves Ketel One vodka, Hypnotiq Passion Fruit liqueur and a float of blue curacao. The "Obama-Tini" can be purchased for $13 at the Brasserie Beck and $11 at the Mussel Bar & Grille.

The Quill at the Jefferson Hotel

The Jefferson Hotel is offering an overnight inauguration package for guests staying during inauguration weekend. Rates range from $165 to $440 per night. Guests can also buy the special presidential cocktail at the Quill. The boldly-named cocktail,
"The Presidential,"
features bourbon, Apple Jack, lemon juice, simple syrup with cinnamon and whiskey bitters. The Presidential is available from Jan. 18 through 22 and can be purchased for $15.

Charlie Palmer Steak

In spirit of the election and the upcoming Inauguration Day, Charlie Palmer Steak has been serving the Capitol Countdown Menu every week since November. Chef Jeffrey Russell creates dishes in honor of past presidents such as Ronald Reagan, Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton.
The Capitol Countdown ends with an Obama-themed special menu item --
the Hawaiian Rib Eye
-- from Jan. 21 to Jan. 28. The dish includes pineapple and soy marinated rib eye steak, sweet potato gnocchi and crisp taro root. The prices range from $28 to $35 and are only available for dinner.

The famously decadent dishes of the chocolate-themed boutique and lounge Co Co. Sala is celebrating Inauguration Day with a special brunch. Executive Chef Santosh Tiptur is serving dishes such as
French Toast s'mores
, breakfast flatbread, crispy Creole crabcakes, grown-up grilled cheese with truffle scented brioche and chocolate-covered bacon.
And next door in the chocolate boutique, Co Co. Sala is serving white chocolate White Houses and artisanal chocolates such as peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. The special brunch menu is $26 prix fixe and will be offered Saturday, Sunday and Monday of Inauguration weekend.

Obama "2 Terms" Bottle Service Package
from Thursday through Saturday over inauguration weekend. The package features a Magnum of Armand de Brignac (Ace of Spade) Champagne, Magnum of Grey Goose, a bottle of D'usse Cognac accompanied with Red Bull and mixers. The package can accommodate up to 20 guests and includes D.C. tax and service charge.
