WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (AP) -- A beer created by the brewmaster at the Anheuser-Busch brewery in Williamsburg is again part of a Budweiser limited-edition sampler pack headed to stores later this month.
Last year the company introduced a beer named for the 23185 ZIP code as part of a promotion called "Project 12."
The project created small-batch beers at 12 of its breweries using yeast that is directly descended from the original Budweiser recipe from 1876.
Consumer feedback this summer helped pick the three beers included in the sampler that will be available nationwide.
The beers selected this year are from the Fairfield, Calif., Columbus, Ohio, and Williamsburg breweries.
The light amber lager from Williamsburg brewmaster Daniel Westmoreland was aged on wood from bourbon barrels and spiced with vanilla bean.
