ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) -- Atlantic City is taking its show on the road.
The seaside casino resort is opening a tourism roadshow today at Penn's Landing in Philadelphia that will bring its "Do AC" message into the heart of competitors' turf in a bid to drum up new business for New Jersey.
The centerpiece will be a "pop-up casino resort," a 750-square foot trailer featuring televisions; furniture; Boardwalk flooring; a photo booth; a DJ booth, a gambling table, and a bar.
Spa massages, DJ performances and chances to win prizes are included, but there will be no actual gambling or alcohol provided.
Upcoming stops include Baltimore and New York City.
The show is part of Atlantic City's new $30 million annual promotional campaign.
