Pet of the Week: Aida

WASHINGTON – As beautiful as Verdi’s classic opera, Aida is everything a cat should be.

She is a social butterfly who loves cuddling, learning tricks, meeting new people and being stroked and brushed.

She also knows how to give a “high five.”

Like most divas, this four-year-old domestic longhair enjoys being the center of attention, but is perfectly willing to share the stage with another friendly feline.

So if you’re looking for your first cat — or your second — check out Aida at the Washington Animal Rescue League.

WTOP Living is partnering with the Washington Animal Rescue League to feature a Pet of the Week available for adoption. For more information about Aida, email adoption@warl.org or call 202-726-2556 ext. 503.
