WASHINGTON (AP) -- The Presidential Inaugural Committee says two groups from Maryland and one from D.C. will march in the 57th Inaugural Parade next month.
The 54th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry Regiment Company B of Silver Spring, Md., the University of Maryland Marching Band of College Park, Md., and the Ballou Senior High School "Majestic" Marching Knights of Washington have accepted the invitation to march.
More than 2,800 applications to participate in the parade were submitted. Officials say invitations are still being made.
