RICHMOND, Va. - Students and some municipal workers in Virginia are being spared the challenge of going out into the rough weather.
Schools in numerous counties are closed Monday. Some courts and other government offices also are giving their workers the day off.
The Department of Transportation is urging motorists to limit their travel on roads until unsafe weather conditions subside.
Most of the state is expected to get the brunt of the storm on Monday.
