MANASSAS, Va. (AP) — A Manassas man has pleaded guilty to killing three people and wounding three others in spree in the city.
Forty-year-old Jose Oswaldo Reyes Alfaro entered the plea Wednesday in Prince William Circuit Court. The Washington Post reports (http://wapo.st/1vUBiAa) that he was sentenced to seven life terms plus 23 years in prison.
Prosecutors say on Feb. 10, 2011, Reyes Alfaro shot his friend Julio Cesar Ulloa, his former girlfriend Brenda Ashcraft and her son William Ashcraft. Authorities say he also shot and injured two others, and attacked a 77-year-old woman with a knife.
