George Mason’s Prince William campus reopens

WASHINGTON — George Mason University’s Prince William County campus resumed normal operations after a threat forced the evacuation of the campus.

The evacuation affected some Prince William County students taking classes on that campus. They were taken to the Freedom Aquatic and Fitness Center to be picked up by their parents.

The college is on spring break.

As the threat was investigated, no vehicles were allowed on the campus.

Shuttle service resumes between the Fairfax Campus and Prince William Campus at 1 p.m. Thursday.
