MARTINSVILLE, Va. (AP) -- Martinsville Fire Marshal Ted Anderson is asking the public for help in the investigation of a fire at a former furniture plant.
Anderson tells The Martinsville Bulletin (http://bit.ly/1hP45jL ) that he'd like to hear from anyone who might have information about the fire. He also is seeking photos or videos taken during the fire's early stages between 5:30 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. on Monday.
The fire destroyed several buildings at the former American of Martinsville plant. Anderson estimates the fire caused $516,000 worth of damage.
