Lottery's annual raffle produces 3 $1M winners

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) -- Lottery tickets worth $1 million each were sold in South Boston, Woodbridge and Clearbrook.

The Virginia Lottery announced results of its annual New Year's Millionaire Raffle on Wednesday.

In addition to the big winners, six tickets were worth $25,000. Those tickets were sold in Lexington, Harrisonburg, Alexandria, Norfolk, Richmond and Skippers.

An additional 300 ticket buyers won $500.

Winning numbers are posted on the Virginia Lottery's website, www.valottery.com .
