LYNCHBURG, Va. (AP) -- The Bank of the James is expanding its operations.
The Lynchburg-based bank has opened a loan processing office in Roanoke and plans to open one in Charlottesville in early January. The bank also has acquired land in Appomattox for a branch.
Chief executive officer Bob Chapman tells The News & Advance (http://bit.ly/1fXTiln ) that there's no timeline for development of the Appomattox branch.
He says bank officials hope to continue expanding its market share.
