NORFOLK, Va. (AP) -- A Virginia man and a California man each face up to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to kickback charges.
Forty-year-old William W. Hooper of Virginia Beach and 53-year-old Harry S. Rahn Jr. of San Francisco are scheduled to be sentenced on April 1, 2014.
The Virginian-Pilot (http://bit.ly/1fmbOTz) reports that Hooper pleaded guilty to accepting kickbacks on Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Norfolk. Rahn pleaded guilty on Tuesday to providing kickbacks.
Hooper was charged with accepting kickbacks from Rahn. In exchange, Hooper recommended Rahn's company, Rahn Systems International, for military subcontracts to two companies Hooper worked for in 2011 and 2012.
