SPOTSYLVANIA, Va. (AP) -- Two teenagers are facing murder charges in the fatal shooting of another teen in Spotsylvania County.
Capt. Jeff Pearce with the Spotsylvania sheriff's office says the suspects' names won't be released because they are juveniles. One suspect is 15 years old and the other is 17 years old.
Pearce tells The Free-Lance Star (http://bit.ly/1gidUaG ) that both teens are charged with first-degree murder in the death of 18-year-old Jason Syrkes.
Pearce says deputies found Syrkes' body on Saturday afternoon along a woodline behind some homes.
He says the suspects told investigators that they knew Syrkes and intended to rob him.
They also are charged with breaking and entering stemming from two incidents in the county.
