Santa Train tickets go on sale Monday

WASHINGTON — You better watch out as Santa Claus is coming to town.

Tickets for the VRE’s popular Santa Train go on sale 9 a.m., Monday, Nov. 25.

Tickets are expected to sell out fast. Last year, online tickets sold out in minutes and tickets sold at vendor sites sold out by noon.

This year, the holiday train departs Saturday, Dec. 14 from VRE stations at Burke Centre, Fredericksburg, Manassas and Woodbridge.

The special train ride with Santa should create special memories as the big guy in the red suit will visit with the kids and his wife, Mrs. Claus, will be there too. Toys for Tots will also be collecting toy donations that morning at the four VRE stations.

There is a six-ticket limit for most trains and a six-ticket limit for online ticket sales. Buy tickets at offsite vendor locations.
