LYNCHBURG, Va. (AP) -- An accrediting body has placed Virginia University of Lynchburg on probation.
Media outlets report that the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools' Accreditation Commission attributed the decision to the school's failure to maintain financial stability. The school also failed to comply with several commission standards dealing with finances.
The commission gave the school one year to correct the problems.
