RICHMOND, Va. (AP) -- A prisoner in Iowa has been charged in the 1994 shooting death of a Henrico County antiques dealer.
Henrico police Lt. Linda N. Toney said Wednesday that DNA evidence linked Lonnie Ray Wiseman to the death of Henry W. Weatherford Jr.
The Richmond Times-Dispatch reports (http://bit.ly/1h9HygZ ) that Weatherford was found dead in his home by a friend and business associate who went there after he failed to show up for work. His car was stolen and was recovered in Bridgeton, Mo., in July 1995.
Toney said the relationship between Weatherford and Wiseman is still under investigation.
Wiseman, who is incarcerated in Anamosa, Iowa, has been charged with one count of murder and one count of use of a firearm in a felony for his alleged role in Weatherford's death.
