RICHMOND, Va. (AP) -- Gov. Bob McDonnell says construction will begin soon on $168 million worth of road and bridge projects in Virginia.
The projects include Interstate 66 improvements in Fairfax and Arlington counties, widening Lynnhaven Parkway in Virginia Beach and a bridge placement in Warren County.
McDonnell says the Commonwealth Transportation Board awarded the projects to contractors on Thursday.
