QUICKSBURG, Va. (AP) - About 75 restaurants, farms, art galleries and other locally-owned businesses are participating in a new trail showcasing artisans in Shenandoah County.
Organizers are hoping the O Shenandoah County Artisan Trail will draw tourists and boost revenue in the county.
The Daily News-Record (http://bit.ly/1aMUmoy ) reports that the trail kicked off last week with a celebration by organizers and artisans in Quicksburg.
County tourism and marketing director Jenna French says the program enables promotion of both the arts community and the county's agricultural roots.
