NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (AP) - The public's help is being sought in an effort to identify a drowning victim in Newport News.
Media outlets report that city police released an FBI sketch on Tuesday depicting what the man most likely looked like before his death.
Kayakers found the man's body on Sept. 29 near Peterson's Yacht Basin. The medical examiner's office in Norfolk determined that the cause of death was drowning.
The man is described as black, in his 40s or 50s, 5 feet 8 to 5 feet 10, with a slender build and a mustache. He was wearing a yellow shirt, black pants and golden belt when his body was found.
