BLUEFIELD, Va. (AP) -- A new ordinance in Bluefield allows residents to drive golf carts in the town, but only on certain roads.
The ordinance recently approved by the Town Council restricts golf carts to roads with speed limits of 25 miles per hour or less.
Town manager Mike Watson tells the Bluefield Daily Telegraph (http://bit.ly/1hyQj1s ) that some residents have expressed concerns about golf carts being driven on main roads.
Watson says decals that allow golf carts to be driven in designated areas should be available in early November.
