STANARDSVILLE, Va. (AP) -- A Greene County jury has recommended a man convicted of killing three people in a botched home invasion serve 76 years in prison.
The jury deliberated for nearly five hours Monday before convicting Taybronne Altereik White of first-degree murder and two counts of second degree murder.
Media outlets reported they returned on Tuesday to determine White's sentence. Prosecutors had dropped a capital murder charge.
Prosecutors say White fatally shot 26-year-old Lisa Hwang, 25-year-old Dustin Knighton and 26-year-old Brian Robert Daniels, whose bodies were found on a roadside outside Stanardsville on May 3, 2011.
