RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Used car dealership chain CarMax says it plans to hire more than 1,000 workers across the country.
Richmond-based CarMax said Monday in a news release that the positions include sales, service operations, purchasing and the business office. Both full-time and part-time positions will be filled.
CarMax spokeswoman Michelle Topping Ellwood tells the Richmond Times-Dispatch (http://bit.ly/1b1sNZN ) that 100 positions will be filled in Virginia, including 65 in the Richmond area.
Ellwood says the company employs between 18,000 and 19,000 workers.
